Pain is frustrating!

Sometimes you get hurt or sick and you feel pain. Then you get well and the pain goes away.

Sometimes the pain does NOT go away – and that’s not normal. Far too often, the response to chronic pain is, “You’ll just have to live with it; I’ll give you ‘something’ for the pain.”

Drugs are not always the best answer. Especially not opioids. Typically, the best answer is to find the source of the pain and deal with the problem there. And most causes CAN be successfully treated, not just drugged away.
